America's most overpaid athlete, Washington Redskin DT Albert Haynesworth, has found a new way to sink his already badly damaged reputation to new lows.
Here's what Mr. Haynesworth said:
"I guess, in this world, we don't have a lot of people with backbones. Just because somebody pays you money don't mean they'll make you do whatever they want. I mean, that means everything is for sale. I mean, I'm not for sale," Haynesworth said. "Yeah, I signed the contract and got paid a lot of money, but just because, that don't mean I'm for sale or a slave or whatever."
So Albert played the slave card. He of a $100 Million dollar contract, who just received a nice $21 Million dollar bonus payment in April, just played the 'effin slave card. Wow! In a nation which is just now coming out of the longest economic slump since the Great Depression (which saw us shed 8 million jobs and increase the number of American's living in poverty from 39.8 to 43.6 million people) this obese beast had the gall to refer to him self as potential "slave." All for playing a silly game sixteen sundays a year.
If Albert Haynesworth had any "backbone" he'd return the money to Snyder and apologize to the better part of the world's population whose hard work and intelligence he insults everytime he opens his mouth.
