The Islanders are in first place. I repeat, the freakin' Islanders are in first place! I know we are only six games deep but hell, I'd be happy if the Isles were in 1st after one game. Coming off a damn impressive victory over the undefeated Maple Leafs, the Isles are now 3-1-2. Somebody dust off Lord Stanley's Cup cause it's coming home to Uniondale!

We are now just a few minutes away from Game 5 of the 2010 ALCS. The Bombers are down 3-1 and facing elimination at home. Several of Girardi's (binder-bound) moves have not paid off thus far. Starting Hughes in Texas, playing Burnett in Game 4, slapping that guy's ass in the Taco Bell commercial (see below), this has been a tough couple of weeks for old Joe. Now it all comes down to C.C., the $161 million dollar man with the 2010 season in the balance...
