Last night, the Yanks dropped their season opener to the Bo-Sox 9-7. It was a typical back and forth slugfest between MLB's reigning superpowers. The game was also notable for the regular season debuts of a couple brand new Yankees; Curtis Granderson and Chan Ho Park. While C-Grand was something sort of grandish, homering to center in his first AB, Mr. Ho Park was something less than stellar. CHP gave up three runs, two of them earned, in the crucial sixth inning. Let's hope CHP steps it up from here for the bleacher creatures are not the most forgiving folk.
Here's the Box Score.
