It's Always Halladay In Philadelphia...

Posted by Sean Doyle, October 8, 2010.
Doc Halladay, the game's greatest hurler, just shut down the Cincy machine with ease in game one of the NLDS on Wednesday. He did so while pitching only the second no-hitter in postseason history. This on top of pitching a perfect game, winning 20 games, being an All-Star and likely winning the Cy Young this season. If the Phil's win the World Series could his (Halladay's) season be considered the greatest ever for a baseball player??

Here's my formula:

Cy Young + 20 wins + All-Star nod + Perfect game + Postseason No-Hitter + (Possible) World Series = Greatest Season Ever for Baseball Player. Bar none.
